Summer's Coming: Parallèle 45 Côtes du Rhône rosé
A light, fresh and remarkably easy to drink rose, this Côtes du Rhône takes its name from the 45th North parallel which runs two kilometres from the Paul Jaboulet cellars. Made from 50% Grenache; 40% Cinsault; 10% Syrah, the wine is light on the nose with hints of ripe berries and red fruit. Grown in the ideal location for high quality grenache, the grape imparts its signature red-fruit flavors with a hint of spice to the light and fruity blend. Adding Syrah to the Grenache based blend adds color, light tannins and a hint of acidity. The quintessential "Summer Water," this bottle is just asking to be guzzled straight from the bottle while floating lazily in a sun drenched pool.
Dry and soft on the palate, this easy drinking rose is refreshing with light tannins, medium acidity and a short finish. Delightfully clean on the palate, it matches up to a variety of food pairings, from grilled veggies to roast chicken to summer salads.
